  1. My sis in law is japanese & when she lived with us she used the rice maker to make everyyyything. The thing she would make most often though was a "soup of the day" in the morning and then leave it on warm all day long and we'd eat it whenever we were hungry. Her soups were always the strangest assortments of whatever was in the fridge, but usually it tasted pretty good.
